Entries are now open for the UK's longest and toughest one day sportive - the 2015 Chain Reaction Cycles Etape Xtrem. 

226 miles, 3,878m of climbing, three routes, 18 hours. 

The Chain Reaction Cycles Etape Xtrem will push all your limits. Organisers are claiming that this will be the longest one day cycle sportive in Europe, possibly the world, and you'll need to act fast if you want to be a part of it. The Etape Xtrem will be strictly limited to a maximum of just 100 places, and over 400 people have pre-registered their interest in taking part. 

The Etape Xtrem is a supported one-day sportive which will be run as part of the famous Snowdonia sportive - the Etape Eryri. Rather than just picking one of the Etape Eryri's gorgeous 3 routes to ride, you will be required to cycle all three in just 18 hours. The Xtrem will take in all three of the Etape routes - the 76 mile Canol, then the 103 Mawr followed by the 47 mile Bach - taking in the atmospheric festival at the base of Caernarfon Castle after every route.
