Snowdonia Etape Eryri 2017: Entries Open Friday 28th October
by Holly Blades
Entry for the Snowdonia Etape Eryri 2017 will open at mid-day on Friday 28th October with some major changes made to the legendary sportives North Wales cycle routes.
The spectacular cycle sportive, favoured by Team Sky's Sir David Brailsford, will feature completely reversed routes for 2017 - offering an entirely new challenge for riders on the Bach, Canol and Mawr distances.
Taking in some of the most incredible roads the UK has to offer, the routes will take you straight through the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Reversing the routes will enable seasoned sportive riders to experience the jaw-dropping climbs and views from a completely new perspective, while offering new challenges along the way.
Also back for 2017 is Europe's longest, and possibly the world's longest Ultra Sportive, the Etape Xtrem! Consisting of the Bach, Canol and Mawr routes, over 4000 metres of ascent and taking upwards of 18 hours to complete, this is a truly world-class challenge, with very few people completing the ride each year.
The Snowdonia Etape Eryri 2017 will take place on Sunday 11th June. For more information on one of the UK's very best cycle sportives, visit etapeeryri.com
