On Sunday 17 August 2014 Cyclofanatic Events will be staging the sixth edition of The New Forest Rattler sportive. Riders on this now iconic New Forest event may well encounter many a mule whilst navigating their way across this awesome and spectacular terrain, and will now have the power of one too, thanks to MuleBar who will be providing sports nutrition to all participants. 

MuleBar, based in Wiltshire with views over much of the Rattler route, and their products are like no others on the market for a number of very green and sustainable reasons. They are wrapped in a unique compostable wrapper (not that we condone littering in any form) and they only use organic and Fairtrade ingredients accredited by the Soil Association. This, we feel, is very befitting for an event held in a stunning National Park.

Positioned towards the end of the summer on Sunday 17 August, The Rattler takes place at a time when many of us are feeling our fittest, and with the added MuleBar boost, you are more than likely to have an awesome ride! 

The Rattler is well-known for offering its participants that little bit extra for their entry fee - with breakfast, tea coffee and a BBQ lunch all included, not to mention the fully stocked feed stations and mechanical support! 

Being such a beautiful and spectacular part of the country, The New Forest National Park is very popular with holiday makers which can make finding accommodation the night before your ride quite tricky. So, the organisers now offer the perfect solution and allow participants the opportunity to camp onsite in the picturesque surroundings of Moyles Court.   

Riders are also heartily encouraged to bring along family and friends to camp and enjoy the weekend, with the cost for a camping pitch being just £20 for up to four people.
