DESCRIPTION:The Starley Sportive is a cycling sportive in Coventry taking place in February each year. 100% of the proceeds from the event go to charity unlike a lot commercial sportives. The event is organised by Coventry Road Club and helps raise money for local good causes. The next Starley Sportive is on Sunday 17th February 2019.
We named the event the Starley Sportive to recognise the contributions of Coventry based inventors to the cycling industry John Kemp Starley and James Starley.
