The Dartmoor Cycling Camp is an awesome way to discover the breathtaking beauty of Dartmoor National Park whilst building your personal fitness and cycling skills. Our Ride Leaders are all local cyclists with an extensive knowledge of the best cycle routes in the area. Each day you will ride with a small group of cyclists that are of a similar standard to you. We offer three ability based ride groups suitable for most regular cyclists.
Dartmoor National Park is recognised as one of the best landscapes in the UK. Situation in Devon, in South West of England, Dartmoor National Park occupies approximately 365 square miles of beautiful countryside that is rich in history. Its central core is dominated by rugged open moorland with imposing granite tors. This remote vista gives way to deep river valleys that radiate out through the surrounding farmland with its lush rolling fields and woodlands. Nestled throughout the Dartmoor landscape there are many little villages, hamlets and remote farmsteads, all interconnected by quite country lanes just waiting to be explored.
The Dartmoor Cycling Camps run from  YHA Bellever, nestled right in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, guaranteeing that every ride will be across the beautiful open moorland roads. There is ample parking at YHA Bellever.
Each ride will explore a different area of Dartmoor. All our rides have van support ensuring we have all the necessary resources on hand to assist you, whatever the scenario. Energy drinks & snacks will be supplied for all rides and we will also take scheduled cafe stops on each ride.
