The aim of the even is to celebrat The Horse Rangers 60th Anniversary and to raise some funds to ensure that the Horse Rangers can keep goin going with their amazing work while completing a great challenge and getting involved.

Based in the Royal Mews in Hampton Court for the last 40 years, the Horse Rangers Association seeks to provide a healthy and fulfilling opportunitity for young people, regardsless of background and ability, to develop chyaracterk, responsibility and a concern  for animals, the world we live in and other people, in a safe and enjoyable enviroment. Unique in the way they are not a typical riding school but focus is on teaching young people horsemanship and how to care for horses and ponies while helping Rangers in their own personal development.

The event will start from the unique location of Hampton Court Palace which is an exclusive opportunity for great starting photos with the palace beyhind and finishes at the London Irish Rugby Club another memorable venue.

There will be two route options:

The Horse Rangers Royal Park Hopper 25 miles in distance and the The Horse Rangers High Wycombe charity challenge, 75 miles in distance.

The shorter route is seemingly appropriate due to the charities royal connections, taking you through both Richmond Park and Bushy Park before returning to the finish location of the London Rugb Club. This is a great ride for all the family or those who want a relaxed ride with beautiful scenery of the Royal Parks and mostly quiet roads.

The longer distance is slightly more of a challenge heading in the direction of High Wycombe, past Windsor Castle and towards the outskirts of the Chilterns known for their natural beauty and amazing views, with a few challenge clims trhown in, this is a great route that will get your legs moving early in the season.

The 25 mile route will  start at 9.30am, with the longer route from about 08.15.  Entry is £20 for the short and £25 for the longer route

To help raise funds for the Horse rangers we ask you to raise a minimum of £50 through virgin money giving which is seperate to you entry fees.
