To celebrate a hugely successful 2013, Red Kite Events is giving you the chance to win some great cycling prizes with the launch of their all-new website and the announcement of some exciting new events for 2014. 

The new year will kick off on January 5^th when the Frozen Devil MTB ride returns to Llanwrtyd Wells in Mid-Wales. This 55km, technical and demanding MTB ride starts and finishes in Llanwrtyd Wells and will take in some of the area's most scenic spots including the Crychan and Irfon Forests in the wild and beautiful Cambrian Mountains. 

As 2014 progresses, a number of new events appear on the Red Kite event schedule including a number of MTB Enduro events and some new road sportives, all taking in the very best of Welsh scenery and riding. All events are fully supported by medical teams, route marking and feed stations. As well as a range of products from sponsors High 5, you will also find home made cakes, flapjacks and Welsh cakes from Llanwrtyd Wells restaurant hot spot and Red Kite sponsor, The Drover's Rest.

27/28/29^th March - Devils MTB Bash - guided rides around Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys. Red Kite Events experienced guides will be leading the rides. 

6^th April  - Devils Challenge Sportive. Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys. 50, 75, 100, 140 mile road sportives. Routes will be exploring the Cambrian Mountains. 

11^th May - Leominster Sportive. Leominster, Herefordshire. 50, 80, and 130 mile route options using the hills in the Welsh Borders. 

1st June - Bala Sportive. Bala. 60, 90, 140, and 180 mile routes using the stunning hills of the Berwyns and mountains of Snowdonia. 

8^th June  - Devils Challenge Sportive. Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys. 50, 75, 100, 140 mile road sportives. Routes will be exploring the Cambrian Mountains. 

9/10 August - Llanwrtyd Wells Cycle Festival. 50, 80 and 110 mile sportive routes. 30, 50 and 80k MTB routes. 

7^th September - Shropshire Devil 2 - Road Bike Sportive, Shropshire Sports Village, 

21st September - Brecon Sportive. Brecon, Powys. Routes heading into the Brecon Beacons. 43, 66, 98 mile route options. 

11/12^th October - Devils MTB/Road Bash - Cheddar, Somerset.
