Entry Now Open for the 2015 Santini Cotswold Spring Classic

Entry for the ever popular, sell-out Santini Cotswold Spring Classic is now open. This Easter Monday event has fast become a must-do ride for many, giving sportive riders an early-season test of the legs. 

"Last year we managed to get additional parking so we could increase the numbers to 800 which was a great success, but now there's nowhere else to go - so once we hit our limit, we won't be able to take any more riders, and won't be able to increase it again," Event Director, Andy Kirk said. 

2015 is also the 50th anniversary year for event sponsor, Santini, and the organisers are planning something a little extra for the event. 

Santini UK Product Manager, Jon Sangan said: "We look forward to welcoming riders old and new in what is a very special year, Santini's 50th Anniversary. Together with our friends at Velo Events, we committed to ensuring 2015 offers a memorable sportive series." 


With an early Easter in 2015, the event takes place on Monday 6th April from its Cirencester base. Offering riders a choice of three fully signed routes, motorcycle outrider support, medical cover, mechanical back-up, broom wagon, electronic timing and more - it's everything you'd expect from a European style sportive. Once back at the event HQ riders will be treated to a hot meal, a Santini goodie bag and a finishers' medal - and all for just £28 per rider. 

John, who took part last year, had the following to say: "I've ridden a dozen or so sportives over the last couple of years, and this was definitely the best value and best-organised yet. A big thank you to all the team. Looking forward to the Autumn classic now."
