ITP Events Present Two Late Summer Sportives in 2016

Le Petit Grand Prix - 01/09/2019 - Lincoln

ITP Events have two late summer sportives, one an established Lincoln favourite and one a new event in Rutland for 2016. Le Petit Grand Prix takes place on 4th September 2016 and the Rutland Arriverderci premiers on 2nd October 2016.

The objective of Le Petit Grand Prix is to introduce riders to Lincoln and The Wolds area over a different route to the main Lincoln Grand Prix event in May. There is also a shorter distance for new riders or those returning to fitness.

Enter this sportive and you will quickly find yourself on some of the quietest roads anywhere in the country. Don't get caught out thinking Lincolnshire is flat though. It is in places, but it is grippier than you think in the Wolds.

We pride ourselves on detailed route planning, making sure all junctions are safe for cyclists and that the most picturesque areas are included. You won't find yourself stuck on A roads for miles in an ITP Events sportive.

Test yourself in September at Le Petit Grand Prix, then set yourself a target to be fit enough for the main event and the cobbled climb of Michaelgate.

Join us at the Harbour Cafe on the North Shore of Rutland Water for our last event of 2016. Say Arrivederci to the summer with one last big day out on the bike, with plenty of real food at the feedstations, hot food and a beer on your return to the Harbour café overlooking Rutland Water.

This event is fully supported, so you only need to think about riding.
