Wiggle Dragon Ride General Entries Sell Out In A Day

The Wiggle Dragon Ride 2014 has sold its 5000 sought after places in just a day.

The sportive which will take place on Sunday 8th June 2014 is already known to be one of the toughest events of its kind in the UK and it was the new 300km Dragon Devil distance that sold out quickest with places going in just under 4 hours.

If you have missed out on a place in the prestigious sportive there is still an opportunity to get your place by taking on the challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The charity has a limited number of places still available across the traditional Gran Fondo (222km) and Medio Fondo (152km) distances. Riders will have to commit to fundraising £200, with all money raised going to help Macmillan provide vital support for people affected by cancer, to make sure no-one goes through cancer alone.

There is also a very limited number of Corto distance (aprox 45km) places still available through general entry and female riders can also choose to take on Cycletta, the women only bike ride which returns for 2014 covering a challenging course of approximately 45km.
