The UK's Largest sportive organisers, UK Cycling Events have seen a phenomenal uptake for their newest event, The Cobbler Classic which was launched 2 weeks ago.

Already nearly 800 places for this early-season sportive have been snapped up, showing the demand for well orgnaised sportives in the UK contines to grow.

The Cobbler Classic will take place from the easily accessible and well equiped Towcester Racecourse in Northants on Sunday, 23rd March 2014.

This cracking early-season event is made up of rolling hills, and the course can best be described as flowing, allowing riders to keep a good pace and target a decent average speed. There are no significant hills, making this an extremely safe, all-weather course.

The route is suitable for all riders, and with 3 routes to choose from - Epic 81 miles; Standard 65 miles & Short 38 miles - it is a perfect event to get you back on your bike and some miles under your belt before the seasons begins in earnest.

Participants will also benefit from all the usual perks that riders have come to expect from UK Cycling Events, including well stocked feedstations, industry-leading route marking, a finishers medal, chip timing, mechanical support, post event massages and much more. In addition, all riders will also receive a FREE High 5 nutritional pack worth £12.

We are expecting over 1500 riders for the event, which will make it one of the largest early-season sportives in the UK, in only its first year."
