The presence of the voice of cycling, Phil Liggett, will ensure that the Hertfordshire 100 is one of the summer's 'must-do' sportives. Liggett, who's been providing television commentary for the last 42 Tours de France will be taking part, meeting riders and having a chat to spectators on Sunday 30 August 2015.

Liggett will be taking part in order to raise awareness for the plight of the endangered African Rhino, and with the recent tragedy of Cecil the Lion, the destruction African wildlife is in the forefront of the media. Liggett will harness his love of cycling to bring about change.

Catering for every type of rider with three routes, The Hertfordshire 100 really has something for everyone. There's a challenging but rewarding 100 miler, a scenic 60 and a family friendly 30 miler. This, coupled with enthusiastic and friendly organisers, should make this a great day out for everyone on two wheels.

The event gives riders all the extras normally associated with a much more expensive ride, including: Eat Natural Bars, High 5 gels, snacks, brand energy drinks, brimming feed stops along with chip timing, professional event photography and full technical support.
