Charity entries will once again be available via the 2012 Charity Partners.

The London-Paris is now cemented as one of the premier cycling events on the calendar and this year was the subject of a 26 minute TV highlights programme which was broadcast on Eurosport and attracted a very impressive audience.  Many participants talked of the 8th edition of this unique event as the 'best ever'. Riders experienced an unforgettable 'Tour de France' finish into Paris, with rolling road closures past the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower.

With plans for 2012 well under way, HotChillee Chairman Sven Thiele has indicated that next year's event will be celebrated with a very special 25th anniversary tie-in to one of the greatest ever Tour de France races in 1987, when Stephen Roche won the Triple Crown.

Thiele said "It seems incredible that it is 25 years since Stephen's amazing Tour win. We were overwhelmed by the demand for places in 2011, with the event selling out in minutes and we expect things to be even more frenetic for 2012. Thus we have added the ballot system to give riders a better chance of gaining entry.  The London-Paris has grown quickly since the first edition in 2004. We have world class sponsors and partners to be proud of, with some special announcements regarding those partners over the forthcoming weeks.

We are most excited that in 2012 we will have an amazing event to commemorate Stephen's historic Tour win, which will include some of the characters from the history of professional cycling. We cannot say too much at the moment, but next years event will be very special!"
