Tour de Force 2015 Launches

by sarahperry

As an organiser of the Tour de Force, I love November! It's the month that we open sales and sit (usually on a Wednesday morning) waiting for the clock to turn to 9am when we hit 'the red button' to open sales - then sit back and watch the riders come rolling in!

This year was no exception - with a route like this one (thanks ASO) any self-respecting Tour de France hopefully is going to jump at the chance.

By the end of the day we were 80% sold out - a great day of sales! The emails from excited cyclists started rolling in, as well as the past TDFers wishing us luck (and lamenting their lack of holiday time/new job/new baby etc that was stopping them taking part this year).

We have a record number of returning cyclists this year coming back for more - even a team of 2014 riders who became such good mates on tour that they decided to return for the Alps.

The hard work (for all of us!) lies ahead, but for now we're just enjoying the excitement of knowing that we get to do this all again in 2015!

If you would like to join us, drop by the website and see which of the 10 Tour packages suits you best: the Northern Classics? Maybe some cobbles? Or can't you resist the huge climbs of the Alps and Pyrenees? We have just a few places left. We'd love you to join us!

Tracy Norris - TDF 2015 organiser.
