The 'Tour de Moor' starts and finishes in Cleator Moor on Sunday the 20th September 2015. This end of season sportive offers one distance of 31 miles (approx.)
The inaugural event took place on 21 September 2014 with 250 riders of all abilities taking part.
From Cleator Moor Square the route takes riders through Keekle, Moor Row, Woodend and then via Wath Brow to the Ennerdale Valley. After climbing Cauda Brow riders descend to Kirkland and travel to Asby climbing up Brownriggs and head towards Hensingahm before descending to Cleator Moor passing through the square to join the second lap
Heading through Frizington riders climb Steel Brow and head back towards Hensingham and the finish at Cleator Moor
Parts of the route are closed to traffic
