Featuring ULTRA (155 miles), CENTURY (triathlete 112 miles) and CHAPEAU (62 miles) routes, this is the UK's original 150+ mile event. Flatout is completely different. It's quirky to the point of eccentric. It's definitely a stern test of character. It's bonkers flat in the Fens and that's the problem! Cadence, cadence, cadence, there's no rest for the wicked! Group up and take your turn. This is a sportive delivered by KILO TO GO - we go further.
Based from the lawns of Peterborough Regional College, you are taken out on to the big, wide horizons of the Fens. A huge flat landscape incorporating Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Lincolnshire that lies just a few feet above (and below!) sea level that has been artificially drained by a network of huge drains. There are 'island Fens' too, areas of slightly raised ground upon which sit such things as Ely Cathedral that looms large on the horizon to the east of our route.
Ultra route
Our Ultra route maybe more challenging than most but the rewards are even greater! This route gets more popular each year with 250 riders taking on the full 155 miles last year.
