Cote de Holme Moss Sportive Weekend

Welcome to the inaugural Cote de Holme Moss Sportive weekend !

Organised by Holmfirth Cycling Club in association with The Bridge public house, Holmbridge and Racescene of Barnsley the event takes place on the anniversary wekend of the 2014 Tour de France passing by on the very roads our sportives use.

The 2 day cycling festival will be family orientated with camping, food and drink festival, Go Ride coaching and racing and the opportunity to ride out with club members to discover some of the Holme Valley's 'hidden gems'

The weekend features 3 x sportive rides:

The Holme Moss Massive ('leg breaker') - 141 Km and 3,280 m of climbing,

The 'Little un' - 84 Km and 1,920 m of climbing

A Family Sportive - 33Km and 598 m of climbing.

All sportive routes are fully signed and marshalled.

Feed stations en route.

The Leg breaker and Little un will be timed by chip and the ascent of Holme Moss will also be timed.

Gold, Silver and Bronze standards.

Post event massage, food, drink and entertainment.

Camping and secure bike storage.

Go Ride coaching and Racing for kids.

This should be a 'must do' for all keen sportivists, offering challenging and interesting routes and the added bonus of family involvement and activities for all.
