Great route (I did the shorter one), friendly staff, well-signed with boards and road markings, well-stocked feed stations with savoury and sweet snacks. Only saw one support vehicle. Shame the bar was closed after the event - I needed a pint!

very well organised, feedstops were well stocked,(flap jacks and jelly my fav) and it was a pleasure to use them unlike the virgin rock, which is like a free for all (mad scramble). i enjoyed this better than virgin rock(too many over crowded imo only)will i be back yes i will.

Very well orangised considering first running. Less manic than the significantly larger Cyclone which runs a similar course. The differences were typically tough with the very strong head and cross winds just adding to it. I hope these events can co-exist. Will be back next year.

Only my second sportive race so I am no expert but I did go wrong in the first few miles but found a friendly local who helped out. Signage was good though. No support - did see that on my first race. It was very windy and this made the hills hard but I really enjoyed the quiet roads which were not too potholed.

A fairly tough challenge especially in the windy conditions but definitely one to do again.
