409km cycling event starting from Preston, Lancashire. Controls at Pateley Bridge, Rosedale Abbey, Goathland, Richmond and Lancaster.
A 400 km Audax, long-distance cycling event fro

m Lancashire to Heartbeat country and back again - in a day. The event is a randonnee, not a race! Those taking part will have a maximum of 27-hours  to complete the challenging 409 km route.

The ride begins by passing through the Ribble Valley and the southernmost part of the Yorkshire Dales before climbing over the north Yorkshire Moors to Goathland - the capital of Heartbeat country! The return passes through the Yorkshire Dales, most of which will probably be at night (unless you're super fast or super slow), and the Lune Valley.
