With a choice of 3 major distances this is an event for those who want an endurance challenge.
The 108 mile will see you head out of Nottinghamshire and down the long quiet roads of Lincolnshire before returning on a fast flat section back to the HQ.
The 157 Miler will get you further into the quiet lanes of lincolnshire before returning on the same route as the 108 mile event from the last feed station.
The full Tommy Godwin - 206 miles. This is for the experienced sportive rider that wants that bit extra in a challenge. The course has been designed so that it can be completed in daylight. I expect the 1st riders back in only 11 hrs well within the time limit of 16 hrs to complete it.
For those who dont know of Tommy Godwin he holds the record for the most miles riden in a year (over 75,000 in 1939) this equates to 205 miles a day every day.
For safety purposes there is paramedic cover and full bike & rider pick up (broom wagon) for those unfortunate enough to need it. There are 3 feed stations on the 206 mile ride, 2 feed stations on the 157 mile and 1 on the 108 mile. Allowing you to refule on the way, all with male & female toilet facilities.
Included in your entry fee is a hot meal after the event to help with the recovery.
The HQ offers plenty of parking, Camping with a secure Bike Store, showers & toilets. Please contact us for camping details.
