The Mud Crusher MTB Challenge is a new event to test your MTB skills and test your endurance over a mixed surface terrain featuring grass, stone and mud. The course will also feature short sharp climbs, descents, ripple sections and jumps. There are two separate challenges you can enter depending on your fitness and skill levels. A 20 mile lapped course and a 10 mile lapped course run and timed separately are available to enter.
All finishers will recieve a commemorative T-Shirt and individual times will be available as soon as possible following the event. Halfords Bike Hut will be on hand in the Paddock Area to assist with any bike problems and a bike wash will be provided following the event to clean up your pride and joy!
Signing on for the event will be from 09:00hrs with the 20 mile challenge starting at 10:00hrs with a cut off time of 12:30hrs The 10 mile challenge will start at 13:00hrs with a cut off time of 14:30hrs Every competitor will receive a number containg a chip at signing on which will be affixed to their bike handlebars and not altered in any way and must be clearly displayed at all times throughout the event as your individual time will depend on this. You be must be 16 years old or over. Helmets are mandatory - no helmet - no ride!
The Mud Crusher MTB Challenge is the third round of The Vuelta Sport MTB Challenge Summer Series 2016. Times from this event will count towards the four round series. Just register your interest at signing on for this event. The other events are - The Muddy Buddies MTB Challenge 13th November 2016 all to be held at the same venue but with differing courses. Prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top 3 in the Mens and Womens categories. All the latest details will be available on the Vuelta Sport website.
