From a stunning event base at the Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club at Grimwith Reservoir, choose from
either a 50 or 80 mile route that takes you through the heart of the dales via Grassington, Kilnsey, Halton Gill and Stainforth where the routes split with the 80 miles option going via Ribblehead, Ingleton & Clapham before re-joining at Langcliffe and onto Malham and Appletreewick before returning to the event base
All routes are fully signed and marshalled with feed stations, professional event timing and event
photography with all photos available for free after the event. Support vehicles will also be on hand to sweep the routes should things not go to plan!
After the event enjoy a shower, hot meal and refreshments at the Grimwith Galley overlooking the
reservoir and, if you still have the energy, take to the water with the Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club who will be running free taster sessions throughout the day.
All this is included in the entry fee at just £30 per person. Registration opens from 8:30 to 9:30 on Saturday 14th May with riders starting between 09:00 - 10:00. The event is limited to 200 riders so early registration is advised. Entry is open to all riders aged 18+, riders aged 16+ please contact the organisers directly to discuss eligibility.
The event is organised by Yorkshire Water with all proceeds going directly to support WaterAid. WaterAid
works to ensure that everyone, everywhere has access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene by 2030. Together, these basic human rights underpin health, education and livelihoods, forming the first essential step in overcoming poverty.
