THE VENUE
There will be free parking, toilets, showers and refreshments available. Signing on will open at 8 am and first riders (The Wrekin Giant) will set off at 9 am.
THE ROUTES will be well marshalled (some are first responders) and sign posted throughout. There will be feed stations, a sweep vehicle and technical assistance if any is needed.
The Wellington Cobbler, is a 23 mile ride that heads out to Wroxeter the Roman City then back into Wellington alongside The Wrekin, the return ride back into Wellington is easier than last years route. There will be one feed station at about 13 miles.
The Little Wrekin, is a 53 mile ride that rides out to Church Stretton but will not be taking on any of the big hills in that area, then will return back along The Wenlock Edge, through Much Wenlock (the birthplace of the modern day Olympics) and back into Wellington alongside The Wrekin. There will be one feed station at about 30 miles so please come stocked with enough fluid for the first 30 miles.
The Wrekin Giant, is a 90 mile ride that heads out beyond Church Stretton and goes over the Stiperstones to Clun. The return jurney will take you through Craven Arms then along The Wenlock Edge, through Much Wenlock (the birthplace of the modern Olympics) and back into Wellington alongside The Wrekin. There will be three feed stations and the route is less hilly than last year and technicaly less demanding too.
