'The Long One' is no ordinary Sportive; this 'Super Sportive' which is longer than normal takes place in the middle of summer to allow plenty of time for riders to complete the ride. The event has three routes to choose from: Epic 125 miles, Standard 84 miles and Short 48 miles. The 125 mile sportive is not for the faint hearted!
Starting from the fully equipped Fontwell Racecourse with enhanced indoor facilities, the course takes in some of the best climbs and quietest roads the North and South Downs has to offer.
With nine major climbs and five other significant climbs, completing this sportive could be your seasons crowning glory! This is a great event to set as a goal to focus your seasons training on.
Now in its 7th year and with over 1500 riders attending in 2015, this classic summer super sportive has got to be on your must do list.
