Are you looking for an end of season challenge then the Valleys of South East Wales and the raw beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park could be for you.
With 2,000 metres of climbing (6,500 feet) this Ride offers long and short climbs as well as tricky decents yet also gives the opportunity to settle in to the saddle and take in the history of the route.
The Ride gies you the opportunity to join Double Olympic Gold Medalist Geraint Thomas as he leads the ride out of his home town.
The Ride takes its name from the historical landmarks along the way. There was a Roman Fort in Cardiff over 2,000 years ago and Brecon was first established as a Roman Cavalry base. The Vikings and Normans have all left their mark over time but the area is also rich in history from the Industrial Revolution and the importance of iron and coal to the development of the area. Cyfarthfa Castle has its history firmly associated with the iron works of then Wales' largest town - Merthyr Tydfil.
The route has received the support of all four local authorities through which it passes.
In addition to receiving details of your performance on the day we have arranged motorcycle marhsal and first aid provision.
You can choose to start at either Brecon or Cardiff and complete either one leg or the whole 92 mile loop.
There are provisions for car parking, shower and changing facilities as wel as a hot meal in both Brecon and Cardiff.
All profit from the Ride will go to Shelter Cymru - Wales' people and homes charity.
