First organised ride I've done and enjoyed it, getting in and parking was a problem with approx 30min delay, but with receiving my start number in advance in post we were able to saddle straight up and Get a good start. Toilets were an issue though.
The start route was nice, friendly and very low traffic on country roads, bit busier mid route especially Wroxham but that should be expected on a sunny Sunday morning, route ended with up hills and head wind, would have loved to have finished in reverse. All in all a great time and will definitely be planning more

I was one of the unfortunate who queued for their starter pack after having queued for over 50 mins to get into the car park, which was a very rough stubble field. I gave up after queuing again for an hour in another field. The toilet facilities consisted of 4 portaloos! poor ladies had a long queue. I started off and every one was friendly and the signage was good. The first stop appeared to be at local pub we queued for the toilet with the bemused pub locals. I think this was around 30 miles and the only drinking water available was in the toilets. Carried on to the feed stop and presented with feed bag with a flapjack, jelly beans, custard creams and a bizarrely small quarter of a jam sandwich. Thankfully there was water and bananas available. Carried on for the final leg and meet up with some confused riders at a junction. It appeared that some of the signs were missing and they were trying to retrace their tracks. Thankfully someone turned up with a Garmin. We all followed and after a few miles we were back on track.
The route was OK not particularly interesting. A good mix of people taking part, from your club racer to family enjoying cycling. Their was good atmosphere at the event and every one was offering help if people got punctures or other issues. It appeared that the organisers weren't able to cope with the number of people. Toilets were inadequate, nearly 2 hrs of queuing and still not getting a timing chip or tshirt was poor. I spoke to others and they had experienced similar. The website 2 days previous to the event was down and I was not able to get information prior to the day.

I stayed in the area before riding to the event and had the pleasure of setting off straight away as the chip timed rider number had been posted out, there was a long queue of cars waiting to get to the car park so not so good for them. Route was quiet and pleasant but passing flat fields of wheat and crops did get a bit boring. Lovely pubs on the route next to the broads and the feed station on the epic was by the water, this was bananas and the usual sweet stuff, flapjacks, fig rolls, biscuits jelly beans and a honey sandwich, Great that it was handed out in a brown paper bag so no queue but it would have been nice to have had something savoury. Signage was clear and lots of it apart from one junction where it must have come down and caused a bit of confusion. Lots of shops and pubs on route and nice atmosphere at the finish with food vendors and a quality tee shirt at the finish line. Entry fee was very reasonable for what was provided and would be great for first time sportive riders as it was a flat and gentle rkute
