The inaugural GFNY Deutschland is set to take place in the picturesque town of Hamelin in Northern Germany on August 28, 2016. 

The two course options offer exceptional riding and racing for anyone. Smooth roads, lots of hills and beer at the finish will ensure that riders from across the world get a proper German cycling experience.

With long daylight hours and comfortable temperatures, August is the perfect time to host a cycling event in Germany. Hamelin is embedded into the gentle hills of the Weser Mountains Region, with the river Weser running through town. Situated just 45 minutes from Hannover airport, Hamelin also boasts excellent railway connections.

It's the home of the darkest character from the German fairytales: the Pied Piper. More than a million day tourists are drawn to Hamelin each year for not only Pied Piper, but also for the magnificent old town itself.
