Exceptional friendliness and home made hospitality. Course was easy to follow and on quiet roads. Home made cakes and tea and coffee at end of race. A lovely course with flat stretches and splatter of hills. Can't fault the course organisers. Wish cyclists were more friendly or is this competitiveness.

I've ridden this area before and enjoyed it, but this route was the best I've done in Kent. It was nicely run, casual but professional. OK, so no timing chips, but carefully noted start and finish times by the timer. I'll be back.

Excellent, well measured course, with a couple of hills at the end to keep you honest. Great tough to have a mechanic to help with any post ride adjustments.

Fab event, lovely people organising it for a great cause. Some very challenging hills but beautiful countryside on the way round. Would recommend this for any level of cyclist as there is no shame in walking the hills.

A great sportive across the Romney Marsh but with the challenge of Lympne hill thrown in to test you! The sanctuary do a marvellous job looking after the animals. The cake was exceptional at the end!

2nd year of riding this event, and I will be back again. Such a good cause, friendly and well organised, fantastic cakes, interesting and "challenging" course, and a lovely finishers prize. What more could you ask for?!

My first sportive, really enjoyed it - everyone was very friendly. Well planned route and great Bread Pudding halfway round, which really helped with Lympne Hill towards the end!
Will definately be coming back next year.

Great little sportive with a friendly crew of organisers and mainly happy competitors. couple of tough hills at the end and the headwind on the marsh can be a pain!

A great sportive; easy to follow signage once you've established which arrows to follow; good back up and feed station; just the right balance of distance and elevation for me; would definitely recommend.
The only are for improvement for me would be a printed map as a quick visual aid to ensure I was on the right track.
All in all, very enjoyable with a grand selection of cakes at the finish. Yum!

Signage - you need to warn of turns before junctions, and not just at the junctions. there were a couple of dodgy signs right on the junction, and if we hadn't been riding as a 3 together we could have easily missed some.
Red arrows are not helpful for anyone with colour blindness as in our group, also on route we took a wrong turn at the top of lymnpe hill as a result of someone else's sign. It would have been helpful to have a logo or something which stood out on all the signage showing it was specifically for the Lord Whiskey Sportive
Routes - we found it impossible to find the route to download on to our Garmins so were totally reliant on the sign posts.
On line booking would make it easier for most people.

Lovely day out. Beautiful and varied countryside. Nice and low-key. But a better website would help including on-line entry and rider times.

A truly good fun ride with beautiful scenery and rambling countryside. We are leisure cyclists, so will stop to look at nesting swans or anything else that takes our fancy. That said, the chosen course was indeed both challenging at times and fun! We will be attending next year to collect our medals!!! Keep up the good work!
