Now in its fourth year, the KCC backed Good Friday Sportive is the first in a series of events organised by Cyclopark, Kent's premeir cycling facility. With a choice of two distances, this sportive is the perfect way to start your East Weekend either for yourself or something for the full family.
This year the popular event has been backed by Kent County Council, looking to combine a successful sportive and incorporating something for all the family to promote popular tourist destinations around Kent.
We are wanting to make sure that this is a fun filled day, it's not about who comes first or who comes last it is about getting to know those over riders around you that you might have seen before out on a sunday morning or someone who is struggling up that similar tough hill alongside you.
After a warm up lap of the Cyclopark circuit, our route heads into the quiet lanes of the surrounding Kent countryside and offers up a challenge to both experienced and recreational riders, those that can expect some testing climbs, fast flats and exhilarating descents.
Once you have finished the event, there will be a celebration to enjoy back here at Cyclopark where each participant will be treated like the winner they are and rewarded for getting themselves out there through food and a live band.
Two Route Options
Registration opens at 08:00 in the main building at Cyclopark
Ride starts from 08:30 - 10:30.
Ride finishes 16:00.
