The oldest, longest and most unique one-day race is back. A 610 km trip from Bordeaux city to Paris, from the ocean to the Eiffel Tower through middle France. Even if it scared many, it is a sportive challenge that great cycling figures met: Simpson, Bobet, Anquetil... With any doubts the top of your cycling season, will you dare meet this ultra cycling challenge? You can either ride solo or you can pair up with someone else. The ultimate target is to go sub 32 hours but you can take a more relaxed pace and use the full 3 days.
Nicknamed "the derby of the road" and then during his last editions' "marathon de la route" Bordeaux-Paris will be remembered, unfortunately, as a relic of history, like a mirror of the last century and inscribed in the World Heritage cycling. However, Bordeaux-Paris appears 123 years after its creation, with some new modifications:
- The distance of 610 km non-stop and 4 000m of positive elevation are a sporting challenge and certainly the top of a season, solo or relay.
- A mythical dream to live one day that all cyclists would like to see come true.
- Certainly, the top of the a season, to live alone or on relay 2.
- A ballet of lights for this race in black and white, where driving at night is simply magical.
- From the famous "Place des Quinconces" in Bordeaux (the largest place in France) to the new National Velodrome Saint Quentin en Yvelines: 7 visited departments, from the great Bordeaux city's wines in the green "Valley de Chevreuse", through some of the most beautiful French villages.
