The Wales Sportive

The Sportive has a closed road finish with grandstands that offers an amazing atmosphere! Choose from 40m, 72 or 112m distances.

Evans Cycles Off Road RideIt! Peak District
13/07/2013 - High PeakBoth routes on this tough ride start with a climb and a descent into Coldwell Clough, where those on the full route medium split off to climb up to the top of the classic Jacobs Ladder, before a great descent into Upper Booth. There is a road climb up to the top of Mam Tor, which leads riders to Rushup Edge, around the Roych and back into Coldwell Clough to rejoin the Short route which climbs up the side of Kinder reservoir before heading out to Lantern Pike and the descent back home.

Iron Mountain Sportive

Ride the route used in the 2009 national road race, including the legendary climb of "The Iron Mountain" ("The Tumble") on the 100 mile route.

This year’s race climbs the mountain twice in the same stage finishing at the summit of the second circuit. Tour de Hawkshead

The Kington Classic Sportive
14/07/2013 - KingtonThe Kington Classic Sportive will cover 74 miles of beautiful mid-wales countryside, involving a total climb of nearly 2,000 meters. For this the third event the entries will be limited to 300 to ensure all riders have a great time and are properly looked after. Starting and finishing in Kington, Herefordshire, changing facilities and refreshments provided throughout the day. Rolling start between 8.30am and 10am to ensure minimal bunching of riders.

Wiggle Magnificat
14/07/2013 - Newbury Racecourse, BerkshireThe UCI recognised MagnifiCat is new to the Wiggle Super Series for 2013, but the event itself is steeped with pedigree and was one of the first UK Sportives. In it's 8 year history, the Wiggle MagnifiCat has established itself as a truly classic challenge bringing together, the rolling Hampshire countryside, classic climbs and the South Downs into a formidable challenge. The longest route 'The MagnifiCat' is 200km long and there are a total of nine major hills and 2800m of climbing.

Action Winchester 100
14/07/2013 - Sparsholt, HantsThe Winchester 100 offersa choice of routes which start out from Sparsholt College on the historical city of Winchester. The ride will take you deep into the quiet country lanes of picturesque counties of Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. The New Forest is the highlight of the ride which is spectacular in the summer.

Evans Cycles Sportive RideIt! Peak District
14/07/2013 - High PeakThis is one of our hardest rides, and we’ve cut down the distances to reflect that. Set in the Peak District National Park, it’s certainly one for rewarding views and includes a catalogue of well-known climbs up to Oldgate Nick, Bunsal Cob, Mam Tor and Snakes Pass. Our riders will pass through Edale Valley and along the shores of the Lady Bower Reservoir. This is no easy spin, but our riders will certainly see some of the highlights of the Peaks.

Manchester to Blackpool bike ride

Peterborough Cycling Club Sportive
14/07/2013 - Southwick, Nr PeterboroughBack for the third year aftger two succesful years, over 290 riders entered in 2012 and the limit for 2013 is set at 350!. Run by the oldest cycling club in the country. All on undulating country roads of Cambs and Northants including some short sharp climbs (Max 20% gradient). Over 3500ft of climbing. Only £12 to enter, why pay more? Entries will open in February 2013.
