The route crosses the Groundhog Isère, Savoie and Hautes-Alpes, through the mythical passes of Glandon (1918 m), the Telegraph (1570 m), Galibier (2642 m), the Lautaret (2057 m ), and the final ascent of the 21 bends of Alpe d'Huez (1880 m) with an arrival at the Palais des Sports.
