The 2017 Eden Valley Epic will take place from Penrith Leisure Centre. The route is just short of 60 miles and starts from Penrith Leisure Centre in Cumbria. The route initially heads South towards Orton village before looping north to Appleby in Westmorland for the half way food stop. Following the food stop the homeward leg then weaves its way through fantastic cycling lanes, via Dufton, Milburn and Langwathby. Starting in the picturesque town of Louth, at the Louth Tennis and Sports Centre, the routes take in some of the UK's quietest roads on the eastern side of the Lincolnshire Wolds. There are four distances for sportive riders, 91, 78, 54 and 30 miles, at £30 for the longer distances and £22 for the 30 miler.
