Starting close to the easy to access Devils Punch Bowl and from which the sportive gets its name. The course weaves through the scenic roads between the North and South Downs, looping around the stunning Devils Punch Bowl, before heading up into the challenging North Downs.
The Tour is now in its 15th year, having established itself as the foremost organiser of leisure cycle rides in Hampshire. The Cumbrian Cracker is a great and challenging Sportive ride. Riders start by climbing Red Bank before following the shores of Coniston, heading South to the feed stop at Cartmel. From here the return leg weaves its way through the back lanes via Grizedale Forest, Hawkshead and Ambleside. There will be free refreshments at the finish for all riders.
