A Festival of Cycling And Music In The Heart Of The New Forest

Tickets are now on sale for the most hotly anticipated event on the 2013 cycling calendar. Powered by Chain Reaction Cycles, The Early Riser festival will take place 2-4 August 2013 at Avon Tyrrell Activity Centre in The New Forest.

Avon Tyrrell - which is also home to the charity UK Youth – is set in 65 acres of stunning New Forest landscape and has a myriad of MTB trails surrounding it, including North Shore style wooden tracks and a downhill anti-gravity track.

As well as the off-road element, the New Forest also boasts some fantastic terrain for road cycling and the festival will stage a cyclosportive on Saturday 3^rd August based largely on the ever-popular New Forest Rattler, which is also managed by the festival organisers, Cyclofanatic Events, there will be no less than six Skoda support vehicles for the event, there is also all the normal feautures you would associate with a great cycling event.

Fantastic Terrain On Offer In The New Forest

There will be no end of things to witness and enjoy at this new and innovative event including: a host of mountain bike events, various pedal powered lectrical items including a cinema and disco. There are two music stages with artists including Dizraeli and The Small Gods, The Neville Staple Band, Kitten and The Hip, Big Boy Bloater with many more. A childrens stage with a large range of entertainment, there will also be inspirational talks and seminars from celebrated members of the cycling and expedition communities. The animal bike tour will be there with their incredible bike displays. There is lots more available including camping and a large range of local food and drink.
