Fast undulating course with no major climbs to speak of, though a few steep pulls slotted in for discomfort. Found the scenery very repetitive, probably due to living in the Yorkshire Dales. Thought the route was well signed posted, but the second feed station was too close to the end. Personal disaster with one of my water bottles being dropped from the my bike and emptying on the floor left with me short of water with few opportunities to fill en-route; felt the price of lost water for the last 35 miles. The headwind in the last half of the ride made for a more taxing ride. I wish I'd found a rider riding at similar pace to myself sooner, would have certainly helped. Still enjoyed the day. You should have showers because not all attendees live local. The map and the actual course didn't match in two places.

JustRacing are used to organising triathlons and this was as slick as their tri events. Loads of parking, fantastic HQ, easy sign in, plenty of toilets, friendly staff, great signage, good snack wagon at the end, tri style bike racking - what a simple but useful addition! - ... superb event. Route was good (I did shorter 50 mile option due to back problems, but still a good ride). Only slight niggle was the VW festival being held at the point the route looped, so had to ride up a lane around 60+ VW campers - with cyclists coming the other way too. Apart from that, great event - will ride again next year.
