A fantastic event with great, mostly home made, food at the stops and finish. Great course as well - on my list for next year already.

A nice course, organised by some nice people for my first ever sportive. I don't have much therefore to compare it to, but it seemed pretty good to me!

I have given scores of 10 because of my overall feeling about the event. I gave a 5 score to the sag wagon question, because, happily, I didn't need them.

I would recommend this event to anyone. It has retained an intimate atmosphere. Great!

Great day out I only discovered cycling last September at 57, this is my fourth sportive and the best one yet, everybody at the club seems so friendly, it seems to be the type of club I am looking for, so I will be in touch with a view to finding out more about the club. Well done to everyone involved your should all be proud of your efforts, great feeding station put on by the ladies very good charity, I was very happy to give my support.

Grand day out with a route that was both challenging and scenic. Great cakes! Only minor niggle was the GPX file ended some way before the end of the course (I was on the long route) though that might have been my Garmin playing up. Was not an issue because the road markings were clear and easy to follow.

Thanks!

Well signed (had directions on the road before, at and after junctions) and all the staff were a pleasure to deal with. The feed stop was amazing. Can't wait to ride again.

A fantastic event, well organised, really friendly organisers and marshals. The feed station (I did the short course) had a fantastic selection and the ladies there did a fantastic job. Overall this is a top class event, I would certainly recommend it and will be back next year. A big well done to all those who organised it and helped out on the day.

Today was my first sportive and I had such a great time. It was so well organised and everyone was so friendly and helpful. My frequent sportive doing husband supported me but we had no needs - really impressive and I am so grateful

Huge thanks to all as I am sure loads of organising and work has gone into something that ran so smoothly. Huge thanks to everyone from those marshalling, those doing entries, the stunning food at the feed station etc etc.

Many thanks - we shall be back and perhaps the last hill won't be quite as painful!!

Just a line to say thanks for organising this years May Flyer. My first time but I hope to return. Organisation and signing were very good, the feed stations perfectly placed and well stocked and it was excellent value for money. It was a good, varied and virtually traffic-free route, with a leg-testing sting in the tail - I seem to remember seeing a road sign somewhere for Copse Hill. I thought it's only missing one letter! I guess it may be tempting to increase the number of riders but I found it pleasant to do a more low key event so hope it will remain the same next year.

Much improved event this year. Fantastic route, great well-stocked feed station and the usual friendly marshals and SWRC members. Sign on was a bit of a bun-fight mainly down to the number of riders congregated at the clubhouse entrance. T-shirt at the finish was a nice touch. Well done SWRC.

Great route. Significant improvement in start arrangements and signage this time round. Having people stationed on the key early junctions was good improvement. Only small downside was that there was a bit of an anti climax at the end - no cup of tea and no sandwich (sandwiches had run out) - and I just couldnt face another banana.

Great course - away from the busy A roads and sunday drivers for the most part. Friendly people as ever at HQ and on course. Was glad I loaded the GPX file to my Garmin since all directions were road markings only. No coffee before and after ride though !! Also none at 2nd feed despite the Starbucks signage and a limited number of cakes by the time I got there on the Long ride. The good stuff was taken by the Short route riders I assume ! Didn't detract from what was a great day out though - chapeau SWRC.
