The 112 mile route features more than 10,000 ft of ascent over some of the most difficult and challenging terrain that Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire have to offer, finishing in the magnificent unspoilt hills of the eastern Lake District. An alternative 60 mile route with 5,950 ft of ascent turns off the 112 mile route at Dent to climb over Kingsdale and return through the pleasant Lune valley.
