I would recommend that you really try this one and if possible the whole route. They event crew were fantastic though and it was a tough day in the saddle as the section from Falmouth to Exeter is a lumpy ride with 2900meters of climbing.
Thoroughly enjoyed the ride as it snaked across Devon and Cornwall and though there would be a more direct route you have to remember it was a horse and carriage route 210 years ago and so a lot of the roads and thoroughfares were not built. hats off to the 2 riders who completed the whole route in just 17 hours, stunning to say the least.
