In 2016, Europe's biggest cycling race will make for goosebumps atmosphere once again. And you can be a part of it.

Course 2016

Our three distances make sure you can find a fitting personal challenge. All distances offer a breathtaking course and finish on the Mönckebergstraße in the very city center in front of thousands of spectators.

55 km - short distance
The 55 km distance leads you to the west of Hamburg. It starts between Hamburg's famous lakes, the inner and the outer Alster and then takes you beyond the city's borders and into the federal country Schleswig-Holstein. On the way back the Kösterberg hill awaits you. Make sure you fully enjoy the route from here on as countless highights await on your way to the finish line. You'll ride past the Reeperbahn, Hamburg's famous night-life-street. A minimum average speed is 25 km / h is required and 6,500 entries are available.

Hamburg Ride
For the anniversary, there will be the first time a possibility to start on the 55km route without timing. The Hamburg Ride is limited to 1000 launch sites and is located at the end of the 55km - Start field. The Hamburg Ride is open for e-bikes (pedelec) with a maximum of 250 watt motor and a support up to 25 km / h. All participants must maintain a minimum speed of 23 km / h.

100 km middle distance
The 100 km distance is the southern loop of Vattenfall cyclassics. After starting from the inner city it is together with the participants of the 155-km distance by the former Freeport conditions Lower Saxony. With the crossing of Hamburg's landmark - the Köhlbrandbrücke - and the fantastic atmosphere in the places of the district of Harburg, the South Loop is an unforgettable experience. And because Crossing the Köhlbrandbrücke is so beautiful, she is run over on the 20th anniversary with the return to Hamburg same again. Back in the city center to separate the lines of 100 km and 155 km distance. The drivers of the 100 km distance sprint over Jungfernstieg and Gänsemarkt the finish on Moenckebergstraße. For the 100 km distance a minimum average speed of 26 km / h applies; are accepted at most 10,500 applications.

155 km-long distance
155 km distance combines southern and western loop of Vattenfall cyclassics. Thus, the first about 90 kilometers identical to the route of the 100 km distance. After the separation in the fields Klosterwall the drivers of the 155 km distance embark on the West Loop (identical to the 55 km distance). For 155 km distance a minimum average speed of 31 km / h applies; are accepted at most 4000 applications.
