Richmond Cyclosportives Tour de France Special Edition!

In 2014 we thought we'd do something a bit different.

We have a fantastic, popular, well established sportive that has been running for 8 years. Click here for previous year's ratings.

But in 2014 Le Tour is visiting!

Our normal routes run very close to all the climbs featured on stage 1, so we've done a bit of tweaking and now the long route climbs all 3 ascents - as well as 5 other significant climbs.

It's destined to be an absolute classic, and you'll be riding the exact same climbs as the pros will be riding just 6 weeks later.

The 5 Dale 118 TdF Special Edition

5 Dales, 118 miles and 8 major ascents, including Kidstones, Buttertubs and Whipperdale Bank - the 3 Tour climbs.

This one is for experienced cyclists only.

In the same league as the Etape du Dales and the Fred Whitton Challenge.

3 feedstations: Tan Hill, Hawes 1, Hawes 2.

Challenge times: Gold - 7h30, Silver - 8h30, Bronze - 9h30

The 4 Dale 85 TdF Special Edition

Same as the main route, but misses 2 of the hardest climbs. Still climbs Buttertubs and Whipperdale Bank. 

Enter the 118, but take this option if you're having a bad day!

Challenge times: Gold - 5h30, Silver - 6h, Bronze - 6h30

2 feedstations: Tan Hill, Hawes 1.

The 3 Dale 60 TdF Special Edition

Follows the main route for the first 30 miles, then 'escapes' down Swaledale. Still a major challenge, especially up Whipperdale Bank, the final climb!

Challenge times: Gold - 3h 30m, Silver - 4h - Bronze: 4h30

1 feedstation: Tan Hill.

Registration and start opens from 7.30am. Last rider away by 9am.
