New to the sportive scene but I recognise a few things that could be improved.
1. Free Bottle for registering early, why give this before the event? I had nowhere to put it so had to give it away.
2. Registering. Why can't you, like others, just post the timing chip etc.? Would make life easier to just turn up and ride.
3. Goodie bag after. V.Poor contents including a month out of date magazine.

I thought the course was good and varied, very well signed.

signage as good as usual but impressed with extra marshals on some of the busier road crossings. Apart from hopping on and off the odd A-road the route was very quiet and car free. Some of the lanes were a little sketchy - perhaps result of overnight rain - but no serious problems. Punctured once and saw many others. Feed stops were overflowing with food. Nice touch offering everyone who brought back wrappers from the ride a free gel at the end.

some road surfaces were very rough, also off road surface. Was grateful not to get a puncture.

The route was an extra 1.5 miles which was a but disheartening after already doing 75.5 miles, the feed station positions also changed on the day. It would have been nice to have been given the new mileages at some point as it allows you to plan your journey and pace yourself.

In a couple of areas the roads had lots of small stones on them but there was not any warning signs on the approach, these were isolated and other hazards were clearly marked throughout the route.

A very well organised event. Signage and feed stations were excellent.
My only query was that the Pre Event Information for the Epic Course stated an elevation gain of 4214 ft, but I recorded nearly 5800 ft on completion.

Very good for first ever sportive, perhaps feed stops could have been better spaced for standard course, organisation was good, will definitely do another wiggle sportive.
