Starting and finishing on Brighton's iconic seafront this cyclosportive is relatively flat compared to a lot of cyclosporitive events run by SRS Events.

That said all routes have Devils Dyke Hill to climb just before the end of each route, which offers a final challenge before riders descend to the finish on Brighton's Seafront.

The Classic Route (the longest route) has Tennyson's lane to climb near Hazlemere which is achiveable by most fit cyclosportive riders, For weaker riders taking part in the longest route Tennyson's lane may well start to sap the power out of the legs. 

Even though the B2B cyclosportive is relatively flat riders should gauge their speed if a gold standard time for the ride is the goal of the day. 

All routes travel through some really lovely country lanes in West and East Sussex, with stunning views to enjoy this is a cyclosportive not to be missed.

Charity

There are two official charites that we would like you to raise funds for on this event they are the Sussex Heart Charity and Helping Rhinos Charity but you are by no means restricted to raising funds for these charities. If you have a charity you want to raise funds for while enjoying taking part in the B2B cyclosportive then please do use our Just Giving page to easily raise funds for your particular charity. 

SUSSEX HEART CHARITY

The Sussex Heart Charity is one of the official charites that the B2B Cyclosportive supports.

The two short routes on the B2B Cyclosportive are ideal for raising donations for this great charity although if you are able there is nothing stopping you from riding one of the longer routes. 

The Sussex Heart Charity was formed in 1987 and provides funding for equipment, education and research.  The Charity also supports Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation anddelivers community resuscitation courses across the whole of Sussex.

Over 130,000 members of the public have attended community resuscitation training over the past 20 years.

Needless to say this charity has saved many lives. Please if you can raise some funds for the charity if you can. 

HELPING RHINOS CHARITY

Helping Rhinos is a new charity that we are helping to raise the profile of. 

Where do we begin, It's a sad thing but Rhinos are really under threat of extinction. Already some types of Rhino have gone extinct over the past few years, most as a result of poachers killing the Rhino for their horn which is wrongly thought to have medical healing qualities in some cultures. 

Anyway, Rhino have survived for over 50 million years, but it is the human species that creating the extinctions of these great animals. If something isn't done soon we could see all Rhinos extinct in our generation. So if you can spare the time and energy to raise some funds for the Helping Rhinos Charity we think it will be a great thing for you to do. Every little bit raised can help save a Rhino so try if you can to raise some funds for this charity.
