Local bridleways take our riders up to the North Downs where trails lead them up the climbs to the Ridge, which offers some great views of the surrounding countryside. For this event, we've decided to let the riding do the talking, check out our staff video of the riders on the route here.
After selling out for the second consecutive year, we have a new starting venue for this year's Wiggle Devils Punch Sportive. The course weaves through the scenic roads between the North and South Downs, looping around the stunning Devils Punch Bowl, before briefing heading up into the challenging North Downs.
We start in Biggin Hill and tour some of the best country lanes through Kent, exploring Edenbridge and Westerham. The North Downs feature heavily on this ride, alongside some swooping descents and tricky climbs, including Toys Hill and Titsey Hill. This is a tough ride but the climbing is rewarded with some descents and views which will more than reward your efforts.
A new ride for the South east , check out some great new roads , sea views , woodlands and the Wye River Valley , Not too much climbing but enough to keep you going . Half-way feed stop , chip timing and mechanical support with a great HQ will make this Sportive a must for future years .
Cyclocross is one of the hardest, yet most fun, forms of bicycle racing. The racing is short and the action close no matter what your position in the race. It's the carrot and the stick mentality. Chasing down the rider in front whilst desperately trying to stay ahead of the rider behind. It's addictive and we've decided to ramp it up to 11, with a new race format, manmade obstacles and city location mixed together with the traditional cyclocross party that is beer tents, cowbells and course sid...
The name for this Sportive comes from WW2, as this part of Kent was within range of the German Guns in France, and had a tough time, so you can expect a challenging Sportive! The Event is based at the Kent County Showground at the top of the Downs, with easy access to the M2 and M20 has good facilities and has immediate access to quiet roads.

Just around the corner from Sherwood Forest Country Park, the iconic home of Robin Hood, we will head out of the forest and East on flat roads which loop back over Clumber Park. The ride with the fewest hills in our series, this is either one which allows you to really absorb the great views, or one which will yield a speedy average speed - depending what you goal is.
The droves south of Salisbury Plain are perfect CX Sportive country! Tracks and lanes climb and dive through the valleys, and run along the ridge lines before flying off at a tangent once more! Take on a mix of surfaces to test your pace, performance and handling. 80, 60 or 40km course options.
