The Autumn Epic offers up a 150km long route with 2,800m of climbing. The event has fallen on hard times and a group of enthusiasts are trying to keep it going with a free, unsupported ride this year. The plan is to set off on the usual date (4th Oct this year) and do the usual route but there'll be no entrance fee and no support. That means no route arrows, no food stops and no broom wagon.
