This marks the last of three events in THE LAKELAND CLASSICS SERIES and you have the choice to ride one or ride them all. The Ride of the Fallen Leaves (61miles) will set you up for the winter as you enjoy a vigorous sportive winding through beautiful lanes in the South Lakes, over the climbs the locals train on, in stunning scenery rich with Autumn colours.
The Exmoor beast is the final and most challenging event of the sportive calender. With two courses whichare 100miles and 100km it takes in the beauty secenery of Exmoor but delivers natural elemnets which makes this event one to tame and also train for. Dont enter if you want an easy day out on the bike. This event is the one you do to challenge yourself!
Leaving Cannock Chase on tree lines roads we soon head out into the countryside, riding over Blithfield Reservoir and on to the steepest climb of the day, Buttermilk Hill (a modest 13%!). We take you through the pretty village of Tixal, full of wonderful architecture to keep your eyes occupied as well as your legs.
