The Hell of the Ashdown sportive in January has had to close its doors after completely selling-out and within record time. The event received - and processed - 1,000 entries within just 36 hours of it opening. Â
Northern Rock Cyclone Challenge 2010
Entries for the 2010 edition of the Northern Rock Cyclone Challenge opened on Sunday 1st of November. The sportive takes place on 12th June 2010 and forms part of the Northern Rock Cyclone weekend of riding and racing.You can choose from three distances, 33, 63 and 104 miles, and the two longer options get tweaked routes from last year.

The MagnifiCat Sportive 2010
The UCI Magnificat sportive, taking place on Sunday 13 June, is now accepting online entries. The Magnificat will again be featuring three main rides: 126 mile Magnificat, 80 mile Route80cat, 51 mile Communicat, plus the 1.9 mile multi-lap Kiddicat within the HQ grounds. The distances ensure cyclists of all ages and abilities are catered for; the young and 'not so young', serious and casual, families and friends, all taking part in our rides along lovely countryside routes. It's the perfect way for experienced, club and leisure cyclists to cycle their own challenge, and then enjoy their success together at the finish.
The Verenti Dragon Ride - New Details Announced
The Dragon Ride is one of our favourites. And judging by its 2009 capacity of 3100 riders, it's pretty popular with the majority of cyclosportive riders. The event will take place on the 6th June 2010. If you're wondering how it became The Verenti Dragon Ride, that's due to sponsorship of a new sportive bike brand, available exclusively from Wiggle.
Mavic Support London-Paris 2010 Cyclosportive
The legendary yellow support cars of the French wheel makers, Mavic are joining London-Paris 2010. Just as in the Tour de France and Paris-Roubaix, Mavic's technicians will provide neutral assistance and mechanical support to the L2P riders on the road to Paris.
