Official Film of the 2014 Haute Route Released

Over three weeks the Haute Route video production team, Mouss Production, followed and filmed the experience of the 1,100 riders taking part in the three Haute Route events, the highest and toughest cyclosportives in the world. 

The 26-minute programme captures in dramatic style the amazing journey of the Haute Route across the Dolomites, the Swiss and French Alps and the Pyrenees, crossing four different countries. It is a cycling experience like no other. Amateur riders get the full pro experienced as they take on Europe's most mythical climbs - Passo dello Stelvio, Col de la Madeleine, Alpe d'Huez or the infamous Col du Tourmalet. Riders overcame their physical and mental limits to take on this challenge and receive the title of 'Finisher' of the Haute Route 2014. 


Featuring interviews with participants from around the globe and breathtaking scenery along the magnificent routes, this programme invites viewers to discover one of the toughest challenges in the amateur cycling world. Riders discovered the Haute Route spirit and camaraderie, sharing their moments of pain, their tears and doubts and also their moments of joy, happiness and achievement. Emotion overcomes exhaustion and offers an unforgettable memory of this lifetime experience to each and every rider. 

The 26-minute programme will be broadcast on leading sports and national channels including CNBC (Europe), Sport+ (France), TVE Teledeporte (Spain), Canal+ (Spain), TV2 (Norway) and the Bike Channel (Italy).
