The smart place to be on April Fools Day will be at the Joker - a unique season opening sportive with a wicked streak!
The Joker is back for a second fantastic year of riding around the beautiful droves and valleys west of Salisbury. Stunning countryside, chocolate box villages and an exceptional course in this 'sportive-perfect' pocket of hills will form the backbone of the day. But this is The Joker, and coming hot on the heels of April Fools Day, it has a trick or two up our sleeves!
The Joker will tempt you and test you. He'll throw down Jokers Challenges; extra hills and hurdles off of the main course to really prove your mettle. And he'll offer you Fools Choices; free and easy short cuts that may just be too good to be true! Make the right choices and you'll have the ride of the season! Misjudge his smile and you'll fall into his traps...

Getting there: Salisbury Racecourse is on the south west side of Salisbury, close to the Salisbury & South Wilts Golf Club. Follow the signs from the A3094 at Netherhampton.
Click the location tab on the Google map (right) and the use the 'Get Directions' feature for detailed directions from your start point to the event.
As you get near to the event centre, look out for ourbright orange and yellow signs directing you to where we are.
Registration - 7:30am to 9:30am
Start Times - Full Course 8:00am to 9:00, Mid Course 8:30 to 9:30, Short Course 9:30 to 10:00am
Start times are not pre allocated: join any start within your time band.
Broom Wagon departs - 10:30am
Broom Wagon may remove some signage behind the field. It will not overtake last riders.
Catering Closes - 4:00pm
Event Centre Closes - 5:00pm

Comprehensive and clearly marked route
Mechanical assistance
Sweeper wagon and first aid
2 support/ feed stations on Full Route
1 support/ feed station on Short Route
4 optional "Jokers Challenge" loops on Full Route
2 optional "Jokers Challenge" loops on Full Route
Optional marked "Fools Choice" short cuts
Extra checkpoints on optional routes (may not all feature feed stations)
Free SIS energy drink
Free allocation of energy snacks for each rider at support stations and finish.
Electronic timing for all riders
Immediate results for each rider at the finish with Bronze, Silver and Gold standards.

Choose from two distance options
Full Route (100-150km) - Entry fee £26.00
Short Route (50-80km) - Entry fee £24.00
Both routes will feature optional variations that will affect the overall distance of your ride. Your final ride time, and personal time band award will be calculated based on the options you choose and distance you ride on the day.
