In four editions, the Haute Route Alps has established itself as one of the highlights of the cycling calendar and has earned its reputation as the toughest and highest cyclosportive in the world. In 2015, the format remains the same: 7 consecutive timed stages (including one 'Marathon Stage' and one individual time-trial), maximum number of legendary cols, minimal flat sections, mountain top finishes where possible, maximum length timed sections, individual timing and all climbs timed.During the event, riders will face 800 km, 20 cols and more than 20,000 meters of ascent in one week.
New riders can expect an unforgettable 7 days in the mountains, surrounded by breath-taking scenery and like-minded competitors. 94% of 2012 riders were 'very satisfied' or 'satisfied' with the course, 95% were very satisfied/satisfied with the diversity of the stages, whilst 83% judged the difficulty of the course to be at the right level.
